Piano Lessons

Mr. Brian Bernhards is offering piano lessons after school by appointment for beginning through advanced students.  Mr. Bernhards is a graduate of James Madison University, where he studied piano with acclaimed Steinway artist Dr. Eric Ruple, and Dr. Lori Piitz.  Mr. Bernhards has written pieces for piano, string quartet and full orchestra, and had them performed.

Students will develop a thorough warm-up routine, enhance their sight-reading skills, learn the history behind the pieces they're playing and what makes them unique, and apply this knowledge to develop a well thought out interpretation both technically and musically.

Lessons cost $30 per half hour lesson. Additional fees will apply for method books/music books. Registration forms are available in the school office, or on our ParentsNET website.
