“Putting Academics First”

Fine Arts

At the Fairfax Christian School, our fine arts programs include music, visual arts, drama and dance. Students engage their creativity though performance and exhibition.

The fine arts are integrated throughout our curriculum. In kindergarten, art, music, drama and dance are interwoven into their academic subjects. As students mature, the fine arts are taught as individual subjects and in clubs, and we also offer private lessons by our talented faculty who strive to bring out each student’s unique gifts.

In middle and high school students can take a wide variety of fine arts classes. The can play instruments and sing, learn photography and graphic design, or take the Advanced Placement (AP) level fine arts classes.

Our Colonial Fife and Drum Corps and A Cappella Choir often give students a chance to perform at community events in the Washington, D.C., area.
